When kids learn big concepts in groups, it’s more likely to stick. Kindermusik Musicians classes introduce music notation, new and complex instruments, and different genres of music. Children participate in ensembles while improving their problem-solving and pre-literacy skills.

In every Kindermusik class, you’re welcomed into a playful and nurturing environment where your child will experience music of varying styles, genres, and cultures.They’ll interact with other children and engage in movement, rhythm, and vocal activities that develop far more than just music skills.Our approach to early childhood education and award-winning, research-based, and developmentally appropriate curricula prime children for success in school and in life. Classes are held indoors at Swiss Cove Christian Church. Outdoor classes available by request. Mrs. Courtney
Courtney is Musical Moment's fearless director and an experienced licensed Kindermusik educator. Courtney, a graduate of West Virginia University, uses her B.S in Child Development and Family Studies with additional certifications in infant and toddler development and special education to transform the lives of children through music and movement. These musical experiences will establish foundations for a lifetime love of learning in all areas of development. Courtney will effortlessly guide your class from one activity to the next, helping you understand how your child is developing musically, cognitively, socially, and more. Prior to teaching, Mrs. Courtney was a Kindermusik parent and continues to use the Kindermusik curriculum with her own children. When Courtney is not teaching she and her family (three boys 6 and under) love to visit Disney World or hang out at the beach taking in the warm Florida sunshine.
